Intrigued
and enamored by the people and cultures of Texas and the Southwest,

traditions, from implementing full-scale Mariachi programs
in the Texas public schools (1994), to framing Western Heritage
with her fiddle and her chuck wagon, Fiddle
Fire. She has performed in local symphony orchestras
for Abilene, Big Spring and San Angelo, Texas. She proudly
served the San Angelo Symphony for 22 years, where she held
the position of principal violist.
